What a weekend!!
I went to see my best friend Tracy this weekend. Everyone, meet Tracy!
She lives three hours west of me. Her and I take turns driving to see each other. This weekend was also her daughters 4th Birthday. I drove over on Saturday morning and drove home on Sunday. We had a wonderful weekend. We spent some time at their cities local Fun Fest. The fun fest had some craft booths and they also had a ton of stuff for kids to play on. They also had fireworks later that night. It was a pretty nice day. Sunday was her daughters B-day party and she went all out! She had Scooby Doo everything! It was really cute. Happy B-day Sara!
I also on Saturday, after months of thinking and researching piercing, got my belly button pierced. Tracy went a long with me, so I wouldn't have to go alone. She gave me some moral support! lol We went to a place called Tattoo Fever that we found on the internet last week. I was SO nervous and completely worked up about it and then when Jason
did the actual piercing it really wasn't that bad. Now, don't get me wrong it did hurt a little bit, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I expected much more pain than I experienced. Tracy took some pictures of the event, we are scrapbookers, and document everything! lol Jason was a really nice guy and very professional.
Here is my belly button right after the piercing. It hurt pretty much the rest of the day and into the night. Since the first day of the piercing it really hasn't hurt at all. It's been a few days since I got the piercing and I don't regret it. I have to wear this jewelry for four months and then I can change it. I'm excited about searching for new jewelry! I have already found a few websites that sell some really cool body jewelry.

the belly button looks kewl.. i was thinking about getting a tatoo done..but havent found an appropriate design nor a person to do it for me..
well, in another 4 days, i ride to kerala on lil birdie amidst the rains and the storms there to meet my cousins and friends..also going to a place called “Kumarakom” – The backwater heaven of kerala.
I'm so glad that you guys had fun. Good luck with your belly button fun. I'm sure that getting the new jewelry will be a lot of fun because I've seen a lot of cool belly button jewelry.

I wish that I could have gone to visit my best friend too, but there is so little time before we go to Fårö (3rd of July) for 4 weeks and neither of us have the strength for the moment. Still some health issues for both of us. And she may fly to U.S while we're gone, so we don't know when we can meet again, that's really sad. Well, I guess we have to go to the U.S later and visit her... *lol*

How cool for you... I used to get my tongue rings on ebay.. There are alot of stores on there that sell body jewelry at a very decent price..

Being a scrapper myself I know what you mean about documenting everything..lol Us scrappers are always thinking ahead. i have a friend whos mom is a scrapper and Sunday she had them all dress in the same shirt so she could take pics through out the day and they would all match for her scrap pages..lol
I haven't gone that far yet but it's not a bad idea..lol

I love your piercing. I got mine down when I was 18, but took it out before I reached 30 cuz I got to fat. Yours looks great. Sport it, girl!

Very cool! I've been thinking about getting my belly button pierced for years. I still haven't. I got my second tattoo, though, a couple weeks ago.
Cute belly ring,I always thought belly ring where cute,my husband on the other hand thinks we where born with all the holes were suposed to have in our bodys already..hehe..heres a funny story,My sister and I wanted to play Joke on my husband,I have a deep belly button,so we got a mangnetised earring,and put it in my belly button.Boy did it look real!Well we called my husband in and showed him,Boy the look on his face was pricless!!LOL He definitly belived it was real till I showed him,it was SO funny!Heres another practacal Joke we played on him,we saw it done on candid camera,and we wondered if he whould respond the same way the other guys did,And he did..hehe,My sister put a note on our car,While I was in the store with my husband,The note said...Im sorry I hit your car,heres my number,call if theres any damages.Well the guys on candid camera thought they found a new scratch..even thow there was none.And the woman they played the joke on,where much more passive about it.Well My husband thought for sure he found a new scratch.My sister and I where laughing SO hard tears where rolling down our face!My husband looked at us,and said whats so funny??!He didnt see anything funny about what had happened.We thought for sure he's know we where playing another joke on him,But it didnt.We told him what we had done,and he still thought there was new scratch!!It really was one of the best Jokes we'v ever played :))

I just had my nose pierced in late June. I would do my belly button, but I havnt had a nice flat tummy since giving birth LOL
