What a weekend!!

I went to see my best friend Tracy this weekend. Everyone, meet Tracy!

She lives three hours west of me. Her and I take turns driving to see each other. This weekend was also her daughters 4th Birthday. I drove over on Saturday morning and drove home on Sunday. We had a wonderful weekend. We spent some time at their cities local Fun Fest. The fun fest had some craft booths and they also had a ton of stuff for kids to play on. They also had fireworks later that night. It was a pretty nice day. Sunday was her daughters B-day party and she went all out! She had Scooby Doo everything! It was really cute. Happy B-day Sara!

I also on Saturday, after months of thinking and researching piercing, got my belly button pierced. Tracy went a long with me, so I wouldn't have to go alone. She gave me some moral support! lol We went to a place called Tattoo Fever that we found on the internet last week. I was SO nervous and completely worked up about it and then when Jason
did the actual piercing it really wasn't that bad. Now, don't get me wrong it did hurt a little bit, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I expected much more pain than I experienced. Tracy took some pictures of the event, we are scrapbookers, and document everything! lol Jason was a really nice guy and very professional.

Here is my belly button right after the piercing. It hurt pretty much the rest of the day and into the night. Since the first day of the piercing it really hasn't hurt at all. It's been a few days since I got the piercing and I don't regret it. I have to wear this jewelry for four months and then I can change it. I'm excited about searching for new jewelry! I have already found a few websites that sell some really cool body jewelry.

My weekend with my best friend and her family was really GREAT! I can't wait to do it again. I hope all of you had a great weekend as well.

Monday Madness

1. How many cop shows can you name? Only one "Cops" I'm thinking a long the lines of reality TV.

2. Do you send text messages? Yes I do send text messages. I'm guilty! lol

3. If you could be on a gameshow (current or old), which one would you be on and why? Wheel A Fortune, only because it looks easy and I think spinning the wheel would be fun!

4. What are some of your favorite websites? Food Network, QVC, Lucky Brand, Blogger, OMG I could go on all day with my favorite websites. These are just a few that I check out everyday.

5. What are your favorite things about the internet? The ability to communicate with friends and family over the internet. I don't live any where near my family or any of my close friends so having the internet to communicate with them is so great! I love Blogger and being able to interact with others all over the world.

6. What about least favorite? Porn Popups! Or any kind of Popup for that matter.

7. What are some good ways to deal with a pet loss? I have lost several pets in my life and it's hard to deal with. I'm not sure if my way of dealing with the loss of a pet would fit someone else. I think we all grieve in our own ways.

What year was I born under?

You Were Actually Born Under:
You are solid, methodical, and you do things right the first time.
Even when no one else does, you always believe in yourself.
You tend to see the world in black and white, right or wrong.
A good memory and eye for details means you tend to thrive at near impossible tasks.

You are most compatible with a Snake or Rooster.
You Should Have Been Born Under:

Fierce and courageous - you are the king of every situation.
You pounce and attack, until others give you want you want.
Daring and magnetic, you inspire others to follow your lead.
And while you're wild at heart, you have some hidden soft spots.

You are most compatible with a Horse or Dog.

What Year Were You Born Under?

Out of the loop.....

I have been out of my blog loop the past few days. Work has been really busy. The company I work for was bought out by another company. I work in Human Resources so we have been making copies of everything and sending it out to the new company. The new company I think is going to be a great thing for our organization. School has been busy for me as well. I had an exam and a research paper due last week. I also have a mid term exam this Monday night. I have been trying to study for that. I was out sick last Wednesday, but I'm feeling better today. I haven't done much this weekend. I have just been hanging out at home relaxing and trying to feel better. We were going to go out on the boat today, but there was a small craft advisory to stay out of the water. We are already starting to feel the effects from tropical Storm Alberto. The wind is picking up outside right now. It hasn't started to rain yet, but it's only a matter time before it starts. We really need the rain here. It looks a little weary outside. It's hard to describe how it looks and feels outside. I can't believe this early in our Hurricane season we have our first tropical storm already. We are only 11 days into Hurricane season. We are all hoping that this years season will not be to extremely bad on us. I guess all we can do it just live our lives and see what happens.

How do I live my life?

How You Life Your Life

You seem to be straight forward, but you keep a lot inside.
You're laid back and chill, but sometimes you care too much about what others think.
Your friends tend to be a as quirky as you are - which is saying a lot!
You tend to always dream of things within reach - and you usually get them.

Happy Anniversary!!!

Today is my 2nd Anniversary. I can't believe it's been two years already. I will be honest, it really don't seem like it's been that long. For me it's like we just got married. I know some of you may be thinking, two years is nothing. Well, it is to me! Especially in today's world where marriage is taken so lightly. I want you all to meet my husband Claude.

We did go out this weekend to our favorite Italian restaurant Z. Bardhi's. It's a little quaint restaurant that serves Italian Cuisine. I had some Lobster Ravioli and a few glasses of Pinot Grigio. YUMMY! We actually spent the entire weekend together. This, by the way, is highly unusual. My husband is a workaholic. We did have a nice time this weekend. We spent some time out on the boat this weekend as well. We have become addicted to going out on the boat. I'm a little disappointed that I have to go to class tonight. I had planned on skipping class tonight but my teacher told us on Thursday night we were having an exam on Monday night. So, I have to be in class tonight instead of at home with my honey. :-( If your reading this honey, I Love You and Happy Anniversary!

We attended a birthday party on Saturday night. My neighbor threw a surprise 40th birthday party for his wife. It was a great party. She came in the house and had no clue and was completely surprised. It was really cool to see the look on her face. It was priceless! There were a at least 30 people at her party and we all had a blast! My neighbor sure knows how to throw a party! Happy 40th Birthday Diana!

Happy Monday to everyone!
